Despite its compact footprint, LUBA mini 2 AWD retains one of Mammotion’s key advantages: true all-wheel drive with up to 80 percent slope capability. This immediately differentiates it from most mowers in its size class, where front-wheel or rear-wheel drive designs dominate. For sloped yards, terraced gardens, or uneven ground, all-wheel traction remains a meaningful advantage.
Navigation relies on a tri-camera AI vision system combined with RTK, enabling perimeter-wire-free setup and multi-zone mapping. Compared to vision-only competitors such as Segway Navimow or EcoFlow Blade Mini, adding RTK improves long-term positioning stability, particularly in larger or more complex layouts.
Mammotion also focuses on edge performance. A dedicated ultra-close edge cutting disc is designed to reduce manual trimming, an area where many robotic mowers still fall short. Combined with AI-based obstacle recognition covering over 300 object types, the system aims to balance precision and safety in active family yards.
