In a phase 1b/2 trial, first-line treatment of participants with biliary tract cancer with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-targeting trastuzumab in combination with nivolumab plus gemcitabine and cisplatin showed encouraging clinical response rates and HER2 expression was associated with clinical benefit.
