An updated pooled analysis of 3-year and 5-year survival and other outcome data of 1,038 patients with melanoma treated with neoadjuvant immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), BRAF and MEK inhibitors (BRAF/MEKis), or a combination of ICIs and targeted therapies shows that ICI as monotherapy or in ICI combinations are superior to BRAF/MEKis and patients with major pathological responses have better long-term survival.
