Epic Games Store is giving away Out of Sight and TerraScape for free right now, but only until Thu Oct 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM EDT (8:00 AM PDT / Fri Oct 16 00:00 JST). Miss that cutoff and the $0 claim is gone.
Out of Sight is a horror second-person puzzle adventure: you play Sophie, who sees through her teddy bear’s eyes while escaping a dark mansion (Epic US list $14.99, now $0 while free). TerraScape is a cozy medieval city-building puzzle on floating islands, with placement combos and solo plus multiplayer modes (list $16.99, now $0). This offer is Epic Games Store PC only. It is not a Steam or Game Pass giveaway.
Claiming is simple and worth doing even if you will not install tonight. Sign into an Epic account, open the Free Games page or each product page, and hit Get / Place Order at $0 for each title before the window flips. Per Epic’s FAQ, once claimed, a free game stays in your library after the promo ends for new customers. After Oct 15 15:00 UTC, the pair rotates. Epic already lists next week’s freebies as Agent A: A puzzle in disguise and Bad Cheese (Oct 15-22, same 15:00 UTC switch).
We wonder how many readers will claim both and never download them. That is fine. The license is what expires if you wait past 11:00 AM EDT Thursday.
